United Refund Policy
United Airlines has established a clear and open flight cancellation and United Refund Policy that is consistent with the company's other business practises, eliminating the chance of future inconsistencies. The policy on United Airlines flight cancellations and refunds varies depending on the pricing regulations and ticket category. Voluntary cancellation of United flights by the traveller may result in fines being removed from the original ticket, however involuntary cancellation by the airline provides customers with a variety of options.
The Procedure for Cancelling a United Airlines Flight:
- Open the official United Airlines website, www.united.com, on your computer or mobile device.
- Check the ‘Reservation' tab and the drop-down menu from it at the top of the webpage.
- Click on the ‘Change or View Reservation' option from the drop-down menu. To see your booking, enter your booking confirmation number and last name, or your frequent flyer number.
- You now have the option to alter or cancel your reservation. After a flight is cancelled, a refund is issued according to the airline's policies.
